COOKIE AND STORAGE POLICY

Cookie policy:

In accordance with Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, we inform you that this website uses Cookies to improve and optimise the user experience. Below, you will find detailed information on what “Cookies” are, what type this website uses, how to change the configuration of your cookies, and what happens if you disable them.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a file that is downloaded to your computer when you access certain websites. Cookies allow a website, among other things, to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or his/her computer and, depending on the information they contain and the way he/she uses his/her computer, they can be used to recognise the user.

What types of cookies does this website use?

Depending on the entity that manages them, cookies can be

Own cookies: These are sent to the terminal equipment of the interested party from a computer or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.

Third-party cookies: Cookies are sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a computer or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through cookies.

The Web Site uses own cookies as well as third party cookies.

Depending on the time period they remain activated:

Session cookies: These are a type of cookie designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. They are usually used to store information that is only relevant to the provision of the service requested by the user on one occasion (e.g. a list of products purchased).

Persistent cookies: These are a type of cookie in which the data is still stored in the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the person responsible for the cookie, which can range from a few minutes to several years.

The Website uses persistent cookies as well as session cookies.

For what purposes can the website’s cookies be used?

Technical Cookies: These allow the user to navigate through a web page, platform or application and use the different options or services that exist therein, such as, for example, controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing parts of restricted access, remembering the elements that make up an order, carrying out the purchase process of an order, applying for registration or participation in an event, using security elements during navigation, storing content for the broadcasting of videos or sound or sharing content through social networks.

Personalisation cookies: These are cookies that allow the user to access the service with some general characteristics predefined according to a series of criteria in the user’s terminal, such as the language, the type of browser used to access the service, the regional configuration from which the user accesses the service, etc.

Analysis cookies: These allow the person responsible for them to monitor and analyse the behaviour of the users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected by means of this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of the websites, application or platform and to draw up navigation profiles of the users of these sites, applications and platforms, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of the data of use made by the users of the service.

Advertising Cookies: These are those that allow the management, in the most efficient way possible, of the advertising spaces that, where appropriate, the publisher has included in a web page, application or platform from which it provides the service requested on the basis of criteria such as the content edited or the frequency with which the advertisements are shown.

Behavioral advertising cookies: These are those that allow the management, in the most efficient manner possible, of the advertising spaces that, if applicable, the publisher has included in a web page, application or platform from which it provides the requested service. These cookies store information on the behaviour of users obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, which allows the development of a specific profile to display advertising based on it.

Are there only cookies?

There may be sites that use other forms of storage similar to cookies but with more capacity, such as other forms of local data storage on the customer’s computer, for example:

LocalStorage and HTML5 sessionStorage: Space that the web can use on the user’s computer. Normally by deleting the browsing history they can be deleted.

Flash “Local Shared Objects” (the “isolated storage” of Silverlight): These are stored inside the Microsoft folder where the user profile is stored. You must enter the folder and delete it. (Example: vimeo videos).

Flash is used to incorporate multimedia elements into a website, and for this purpose it stores files on the user’s computer.

The web beacon is used to track your activity, inserting a mini-image that you do not even notice. When you browse the website, it loads along with the page, and the server where the photo is downloaded records the time of access, or the number of times you have accessed it.

These files are more intrusive than cookies, as they are more complicated to delete, save more information, and are independent of the browser used. We do not use this type of storage.
