General information In the Cabinet Meeting was approved last Friday, within the measures of support introduced concerning housing and restoration, a Royal Decree to transpose to the Spanish regulation the basic proceeding for the certificate of energy efficiency of buildings. This certificate, in addition to the energy qualification of the building, should include information concerning the energy characteristics of the building, and, in the case of existing buildings, a document of recommendations in order to improve the ideal level or profitable energy efficiency of the building or part of same in order that one can value and compare the energy efficiency of the buildings.
